性质:四环三萜类衍生物。白色粉末(乙醇-醋酸乙酯)。熔点206~209℃,旋光度+19.38(c=1.03,甲醇),旋光度[α]D +17.8 。o-甲基化人参皂苷Rd,白色粉末(含水甲醇),熔点91~93℃,旋光度+14.43 (c=0.97,氯仿)。其乙酰化物,晶粉,熔点127℃。存在于五加科植物人参[Panax ginseng C.A.Mey er(P. schinseng Nees)]的根、花蕾、叶、芦头、茎中。能减少乙酰胆碱引起的豚鼠离体子宫的收缩。对大鼠有减慢心率和双相性血压(先升后降)作用。对猫的行为和脑电图显示中等的抑制。有抗疲劳作用。
