| 更年期 climacteric 从生育年龄到无生育能力的年龄之间的过渡阶段。在女性，到一定年龄月经变得不规则，随后停止，月经停止前数月至停止后3年这一段时期被称为更年期，或准确地说，是围绝经期。但在男性并无这种明显的生理标志。对女性而言，受绝经影响的只是生育能力，因不再排卵，生育能力消失，但闭经后妇女的性欲多仍正常，部分妇女甚至性欲更为亢进，故有第二个青春期之说。对更年期的认识尚有争议，大多数学者不承认更年期的存在。大部分妇女在围绝经期并无不适，仅少数妇女出现多种症状，如血管舒缩综合征和精神症状。除血管舒缩综合征外，多数症状与其说是生理性的，不如说是心理性的。有些妇女对围经绝期的生理变化不理解，对衰老的到来感到担心或因种种原因产生忧郁情绪，这些旧称更年期精神症。在男性，也会因种种原因产生轻重不等的精神障碍。上述许多症状与患者的文化程度、健康状态、心理状态、周围环境因素等有密切关系。工作繁忙、事业心重的妇女，症状反而较轻。这说明心理-社会在其中起同等主要作用。 |
