【来源】
为兰科植物小花蜻蜒兰的根茎。
【植物形态】
小花蜻蜒兰 多年生草本，高30～40厘米。根茎横生。茎无毛，不分枝。叶互生；近基部叶约3片，叶片狭长圆形或披针形，长14～18厘米，全缘，无毛，叶脉平行，基部鞘状；茎上部及中部的叶小，披针形，长8～20毫米。总状花序顶生；花淡黄绿色，长约1厘米，无毛；花被唇瓣有长距，距细，长6～8毫米。 生于山谷、沟边阴湿处。
【采集】
春、夏采收。
【性味】
性凉，味苦辛。
【功用主治】
消肿解毒。
【选方】
①治鹅口疮：半春莲根三至五钱，水煎服。 ②治无名肿毒、毒蛇咬伤：鲜半春莲根适量，捣烂外敷。 ③治跌打损伤、骨折：鲜半春莲根一至二两，捣烂外敷。
