检查内源凝血系统全部凝血因子的一种敏感的过筛试验。故内源性凝血过程中的任何因子有缺陷时，其生成时间均可延长。试验时，在血浆中加入脑磷脂和白陶土。脑磷脂代替血小板和加速因子Ⅹ活化的作用，白陶土能充分激活因子Ⅶ和Ⅸ，这样缩短了血浆凝固时间，血浆与上述悬液混合后，温育一定时间使凝血因子活化，然后加入氯化钙测定血浆凝固时间，即为白陶土部分凝血活酶生成时间。延长见于Ⅷ、Ⅸ、Ⅶ、Ⅵ因子缺乏及Ⅱ，Ⅴ因子、纤维蛋白原明显减少。缩短见于因子Ⅷ及因子Ⅴ增多，播放性血管内凝血高凝血期及血小板增多症。
