“青龙湖”位于房山区东北崇各庄乡境内，库区东北与丰台区王佐乡怪村交界，库区总面积4.94平方公里，是离北京最近的优质开阔水面，湖区距天安门仅37公里，距京石高速路出入口仅3公里，距区政府所在地良乡9公里，交通便利，地理区位条件优越。
“青龙湖”前身是崇青水库，于1995年开始对这一水库进行旅游开发，并定名为“青龙湖”，现已形成。“青龙湖”湖水清澈，风景如画，迷你海滩，高空飞伞，水上摩托，水中龙船，湖边垂钓，湖区考古，餐饮住宿，陆地游乐等大型综合性休闲、娱乐活动的理想场所。
青龙湖景区位于北京市房山区青龙湖镇，距市区28公里，是距北京市区最大、最近的水景资源，集养殖、旅游于一体，库容2900万立方米，水面6000亩，相当于颐和园、玉渊潭、北海及中南海等水体水面的总和。有水上飞伞、高速摩托艇、快艇、自驾艇、脚踏船、手划船、划板、龙舟、万人沙滩浴场，被称为“北京的小海滨”。为国家级aa级风景区。
