The determination of magnesium oxide in magnesiumbase desulfurizing agent and in the surface of deactivation magnesium is studied in this paperTwo method are adopted in the procedure It shows that the content of magnesium oxide correctly can be leached by boiling or by oscillating the potassium bichromate solution and determined by AAS.
