physical disease
躯体疾病(physieal disease)在一定的致病因素作用下，使机体原来的平衡被破坏，出现致病因素造成的损害与机体抗损害之间的新的矛盾斗争过程，机体表现出组织器官的功能、代谢和结构上的病理变化，并有相应的躯体特征和实验室检查的阳性发现，包括心、肺、肝、肾等疾病以及内分泌、代谢、营养等疾病。虽然躯体疾病的概念着眼于生物学的病理变化，然而人的身体和心理不可分割，躯体疾病也不可避免地会引起不同程度的心理改变。由于躯体疾病使机体与外界环境的统一性发生了障碍，它将影响病人的社会适应能力。因此，任何患躯体疾病的病人不但有细胞器官的病理改变，而且总会出现不同程度的心理、行为改变和社会功能障碍。 (扛开达撰徐俊见审)
