供应肾血液的动脉。是腹主动脉的分支,入肾后分支为叶间动脉,呈辐射状伸入皮质,在皮质与髓质间形成弓状动脉。弓状动脉发出小叶间动脉,再分为入球小动脉,进入肾小体形成毛细血管球,并汇集成出球小动脉离开肾小体。出球小动脉又分成毛细血管网围绕着肾小管和集合管,在髓质则有一部分形成直小动脉。由肾动脉注入肾的血液占心搏出量的25%,为全身灌流量最多的一个器官,其中90%血流供皮质,供髓质的血流不到10%。
