玉米恢复系(maize male fertility restorer) 与细胞质雄花不育系杂交后能使玉米子代正常散粉的自交系。它是玉米不育化制种时必须具备的父本材料。 恢复系所表现的恢复性是受核基因控制的,一般都呈显性,恢复基因用Rf符号表示,是针对细胞质雄花不育的核内隐性基因rf起作用的。因此,一个细胞质雄花不育株既带有特定的细胞质,其细胞核内又含有rf基因,经用细胞质正常、含Rf基因的恢复系数据授粉后,杂种细胞核内所含Rf rf杂合基因型,就能消除细胞质雄性不育性,恢复正常散粉。 恢复基因表达的部位和时间有所不同,这类恢复基因能作用于杂交一代的体细胞,使整株的花粉粒都正常发育。 用雄花不育系配制杂交时,必须确切了解恢复系的名称、来源和恢复性能等。 |
