According to corrosion classification criteria in international petroleum industry and documents concerning injected water quality in China,the author evaluates and optimizes control indications of injected water quality standards and gets good effects.

A great deal of comparisons on domestic and international water quality standards of intermediate water are passed,and draw some conclusions : The requirement of the domestic and international water quality standards of intermediate water is similar in the pH,solid suspending matter,dissolved solids,total P,ammonia nitrogen,chromaticity and so on.

This paper reviews the present situation and problems of water processing technology,including the development of water quality criteria and management,and the study of the water quality of source waters,factory waters and tap waters.
