性质:在BET理论出现之前从吸附等温线确定单层饱和吸附量的简易方法。由第Ⅱ类吸附等温线的起始段可知,随着气体相对压增加,吸附较快升高,随后出现向一平缓直线段转折,此转折点称B点,此点相应之吸附量可近似作为单层饱和吸附量,若辅以吸附分子截面积数据可求得固体比表面。此法称为B点法。该法现已不多用。
