性质:又称离子导电玻璃,非晶态电解质材料。这种材料在结构上属长程无序,多为含碱金属离子及银离子的氧化物玻璃,具有较高的离子电导率。其中银离子导电玻璃75AgI·25Ag2SeO4在20℃达到6×10-2S·cm-1的电导率。玻璃的电导率主要取决于氧化物组分和性质。例如,对于SiO2-Na2O体系,当单位体积中钠原子的浓度增加2倍,在100℃时电导率增加100倍;当两种不同碱金属离子以相同浓度在玻璃中共存时,电导率降为原来的千分之一,被称为混合碱金属效应。目前对玻璃的离子电导机制提出的微观模型还不能完全解释其复杂性。
