地堑 graben 地壳中被两侧倾向相反的正(或逆)断层所界限而中间断盘下掉的槽形断块构造。是一种长条形的断陷盆地,纵向延伸可达数百千米 ;仅在一侧为断层所限的断陷称半地堑。若同时发育着一系列走向大致平行但倾向依次相反的正(或逆)断层时,则地堑与地垒相间排列形成盆岭构造。地堑的形成与地壳的水平拉伸作用有关,在背斜的轴部也常发育地堑。地堑常与沉积矿产,尤其是煤和油气藏等密切相关。有名的地堑有欧洲的莱因地堑、中国的汾渭地堑等。 |
