超声学检查设备的元件之一。在线形、凸形或相控阵换能器中，将晶体的分割数大幅度增加的探头。其晶体数现已为普通标准探头晶体数的3.5倍或更多。其发射声波的波阵面平滑度接近于凹面晶体的球面波阵面，使失真大为减小。
