Eight novel triazinyl phenylthiomethanesulfonyl ureas (2,3) were prepared by reacting phenylthiomethanesulfonamides (1) with 4,6- dichloro - 2 - triazinyl isocyanate using potassium carbonate as catalyst, and then treated further with sodium methoxide in methanol.
