A rheologic theory on conjugate shear angles is proposed based on the maximum lateral displacement rate(MLDR) hypothesis,which states that when compressive or tensile stress is applied to a solid,shear bands are formed in the solid in the orientations that give rise to the maximum lateral displacement rates of the blocks divided by the shear bands.

| 斡道冲(?～1183) 中国西夏仁宗李仁孝时大臣。字宗圣。先世灵武（今宁夏灵武）人，从夏主迁居兴庆府(今宁夏银川)，世代掌修夏国史。精通五经，译《论语注》，作《论语小义》20卷，又作《周易卜筮断》，用蕃字(西夏文)写成，流行夏境。天盛三年(1151)为蕃汉教授。在朝刚介直言，与御史中丞热辣公济、翰林学士兼枢密都承旨焦景颜共同抵制外戚任得敬的专权和分国活动。任得敬被诛后，辅佐仁宗稳定政局，发展文化，很多重要典籍即在此时刊印。乾祐十四年(1183)死，为相十数年，家无私蓄，藏书甚多，死后，仁宗图画其像，从祀于孔庙。 |
