位于安宁县妥乐村。为陆源碎屑-化学岩型互层亚型钙硭硝石岩矿床。

矿体产于上侏罗统安宁组内。含盐系由石盐、钙硭硝、硬石膏组成,呈牛眼状结构,石盐层上下和四周依次为钙硭硝、石膏矿所包围。含盐系顶底板岩性均为紫红色或紫红、灰绿相间的细碎屑岩,深埋于地下200-500米,呈近东西方向展布,东宽西窄,长14千米,宽10千米,面积约70平方千米。

含盐厚度(包括石盐、钙硭硝及少量石膏、碎屑岩夹石)52-502米,中心厚,边缘薄,为一大面积稳定分布的似层状矿体。

构造简单,矿层稳定,埋藏不深,交通方便,资源量大,易于打井取卤制盐,可形成重要的盐化工基地。
