51扭11丝炭(f usain)有丝绢光泽、纤维状结构、性脆的、单一的宏观煤岩成分。在成煤过程中，丝炭是由成煤植物的木质、纤维组织经丝炭化作用而形成的。丝炭外观象木炭，灰黑色，质疏松多孔，性脆，易碎，故在煤粉中含量较多。有些丝炭的孔腔被矿物质填充，成为矿化丝炭。矿化丝炭质地坚硬，致密，密度大。在显微镜下观察，丝炭保留明显的植物细胞结构，有时还能看到年轮结构。丝炭含氢量低，含碳量高，没有粘结性。由于丝炭孔隙率高，易于吸氧而发生氧化和自燃。在煤层中丝炭呈扁平透镜体或不连续小夹层，沿煤的层面分布，厚度约为几毫米。 (或中蜀)
