【受激辐射】(simulatedemission)原子中处于能量较高的状态`E_2`的电子，在外界光辐射（其能量为`E_2-E_1`）的刺激下，向能量较低有状态`E_1`跃迁，并同时放出能量亦为`E_2-E_1`的光辐射的过程。特点是：受激辐射放出的光辐射的全部特性（频率、方向、位相和偏振态）同原先入射的光辐射的特性完全相同。受激辐射是实现*激光的主要依据。
