又称“骨髓依赖性淋巴细胞”、囊依赖性淋巴细胞,简称“B细胞”。在禽类法氏囊发育生成的淋巴细胞称为囊依赖性淋巴细胞。哺乳类动物可能是在骨髓等器官中发育而成,故称为骨髓依赖性淋巴细胞。B细胞在骨髓和集合淋巴结中的数量较T细胞多,而在血液和淋巴结中比T细胞少,在胸导管中更少,仅少数参与再循环,寿命短。B细胞受抗原刺激后,分化增殖为浆细胞,合成抗体,发挥体液免疫功能。
