| 王正廷（1882～1961） 中国浙江奉化人。字儒堂 。早年毕业于天津北洋大学预科。1905年留学日本。翌年加入同盟会。1908年留学美国耶鲁大学，获文学硕士学位。回国后在上海中华基督教青年会工作。曾任湖北都督府外交副主任、上海青年会全国协会总干事等职。1917年参加护法运动，并任护法军政府外交总长、财政总长。1919年任巴黎和会全权代表，拒绝在巴黎和约上签字。1922年任外交总长兼代国务总理。1924年任外交总长、财政总长及关税会议委员长。1927年后，任陇海铁路总办、外交部长、国民党中央执行委员、国民党政府委员等职。1936年出任驻美国大使。抗日战争胜利后，曾任上海市参议员、菲律宾交通银行董事长、太平洋保险公司董事长。1949年初去香港。1961年5月在香港病逝。 |
