性质:大多为无色液体。对空气敏感,久置时颜色变深。常见的烷基吡咯的物理常数为:2-甲基吡咯,沸点148℃,相对密度0.9446,折射率1.5035;3-甲基吡咯,沸点45℃(1.466kPa),折射率1.4970;2-乙基吡咯,沸点68℃(1.866kPa),相对密度0.9042,折射率1.4942;3-乙基吡咯,沸点65℃(1.866kPa);2-异丙基吡咯,沸点172~173℃,相对密度0.908,折射率1.491;2-烯丙基吡咯,沸点82~83℃(3.199kPa);2-乙烯基吡咯,沸点64~67℃(2.399kPa)。用吡咯经弗里德尔-克拉夫茨反应(Friedel-Crafts reaction)制备时,常得多烷基化产物,宜用闭环法制取,比如,利用克诺尔(L. Knorr)、克诺尔-帕尔(Knorr-Paal)、汉奇(A.R.Hantzsch)等合成法制取。用作有机合成试剂。
