      化学式HBrO3。只存在于溶液中,最高浓度可达50%,超过此浓度即迅速分解并发生爆炸。溴酸是强酸,其浓溶液显强氧化性。溴酸可用下法制备:
  Br2+5Cl2+6H2O─→2HBrO3+10HCl
  Ba(BrO3)2+H2SO4─→2HBrO3+BaSO4溴酸可用作氧化剂。
