kongc{xing kuangwu抗磁性矿物(diamagnetic mineral)在外磁场作用下,产生很弱的磁感应的磁性矿物。这种矿物的磁学性质表现为磁化方向与外磁场方向相反,受磁场的排斥;磁化率很小,为负值。抗磁性矿物组成元素的主要阳离子多属惰性气体型,电子成对,具有平衡自旋。外磁场只能引起电子轨道运动的轻微变形,产生极小的磁化。磁场移去,抗磁性即消失。具有抗磁性的矿物,如石英、方解石、方铅矿、正长石、自然银、自然秘等,在磁选过程中进入非磁性产品。 (葛书华)
