性质:需氧生物体内氧分子作为最重要的电子受体在物质代谢过程中被还原成水:O2+4e→2H2O,如此利用的氧约占组织耗氧总量的95%,其余5%的氧在还原过程中由于接受电子数目不等可以形成多种性质活泼的活性氧。氧分子受单一电子还原的产物称为超氧阴离子O2+e→O2-。O2-是阴离子,又是自由基,性质活泼,具有很强的氧化性和还原性,既是氧化剂,又是还原剂,过量生成可致组织损伤。在体内主要通过超氧歧化酶清除。
