【植物形态】
喜马拉雅紫荣莉 多年生草本，高30～50厘米，全株被短毛。根较粗。茎直立，具明显的节，基部分枝。叶对生，卵形至心形，边缘具微锯齿，有柄。花1至数朵聚生枝顶，花梗上密被褐色腺毛；萼状总苞5裂；花萼紫红色。果革质，有棱。 生于山坡、田野。分布西藏等地。
【采集】
8～9月挖根，洗净，切片，晒干。
【性味】
性温，味甘微辛。
【功用主治】
补益脾肾，利水。治肾炎水肿，淋病。
【用法与用量】
内服：煎汤，1～3钱。
