电热水器 electric water heater 利用电加热方法提供生活用热水的电器。按加热方式分为:①快热式电热水器又称流水式电热水器。冷水直接流经电热元件表面而被加热,停止进水就停止加热。快热式电热水器有腔体式和水槽式两种。腔体式主要依靠橡皮膜的弹力来通断电源。水槽式主要依靠机电转换器来通断电源。②贮水式电热水器。容量较大,由内胆电热元件、温度控制元件和压力保护装置组成。它利用电热元件将贮水箱中的冷水加热。电热水器的功率一般为 900~7500瓦,因耗电较多,各国均致力于开发节能型产品。
