The present paper deals in detail with the attitudes and occurrences of the biostratigraphic sequences and fossils from the sedimentary cover exposed in the Jinpingshan region along the western margin of the Xikang Yunnan axis,southwestern China in the light of the regional geological surveying of the 1∶50000 Lawoxiang and Lizhuang sheets.
