| 天青石 celestite 硫酸盐矿物。成分为Sr[SO4]。含Sr 45％～47％，有时含钡和钙。提取锶的主要矿物原料，主要用于制取碳酸锶，以及生产电视显像管玻璃等。与重晶石形成完全类质同象系列，富含钡的称钡天青石。正交（斜方）晶系，晶体呈板状或柱状；集合体呈粒状、纤维状、钟乳状或结核状。浅蓝灰色，有时为无色透明 。玻璃光泽。莫氏硬度3～3.5。比重3.9～4.0。灼烧天青石碎片时使火焰染为深紫红色，借以与重晶石相区别（重晶石染焰色为黄绿色）。主要为沉积成因，常与碳酸盐和石膏伴生。产于热液矿脉中。中国江苏溧阳爱景山天青石脉状矿床是亚洲最大的锶矿产地。
