光在传播过程中由于反射或折射使传播方向发生改变，出射方向和入射方向间的夹角。从棱镜的一个棱面射入的一束光线，发生两次折射后从棱镜的另一个棱面射出，光线的出射方向与入射方向间的夹角，就是光线经过棱镜后的偏向角。
