性质: 硼氢化合物或二硼烷在温和的条件下与重键(C=C,C=O,C≡C,C≡N等)加成,称为布朗硼氢化反应,其中烯烃、炔烃加成时氢加到含氢少的碳原子上,即属于反马尔科夫尼科夫规则:R-CH=CH2(R-CH2-CH2)3B反应有强的立体选择性,为顺式加成,这与许多亲电加成相反;硼原子在空间阻碍小的一面加成。本反应在有机合成中得到广泛的应用,H.C.布朗也因为在有机硼化学中的杰出贡献而荣获1979年诺贝尔化学奖。
