By studying the samples of synonyms, usage of some words, the translation of an entry with its examples and other four features of New Age English-Chinese Dictionary, the author of the paper illustrates that the dictionary is reader-oriented and correspondent with the Chinese cognition in learning English, which shows the makers’ new cultural considerations in bilingual dictionary making.
