This paper made the pilot study of the welding gun oscillation mechanism according to the characteristics of 3-RPS parallel platform mechanism, and introduced the method of how to confirm the absolute coordinate and gradient of the welding gun's top, and how to realize several common kinds of tracks by the welding gun oscillation mechanism.
