【来源】
为葡萄科植物艾叶酸蔹藤的根。
【植物形态】
艾叶酸蔹藤 藤本。茎有卷须，与叶对生。根串珠状纺锤形。叶互生，掌状复叶；小叶5枚，叶片椭圆状披针形，两端尖，叶缘有粗锯齿。花为聚伞花序，淡黄绿色。浆果小，有种子1～4粒。 生于山坡陡崖上。
【采集】
全年可采。切片晒干。
【性味】
辛涩微麻，微寒，有小毒。
【功用主治】
续筋接骨，止血消炎，止痛。治骨折，刀枪伤，烧伤，痈肿。
【用法与用量】
内服：研末，1～2钱。外用：捣敷。
【宜忌】
孕妇忌服。
