A series of 3 (3′ aryl 5′ thione 1′,2′,4′ triazole 4′ yl) aminocarbonyl chromones have been prepared by the oxidation of 3 formylchromone by the Jones' reagent, followed by reacting with 3 aryl 4 amino 5 thione 1,2,4 triazole in the presence of POCl 3.
