性质:指炭黑粒子中碳原子的排列。X射线衍射研究表明,炭黑是由平行排列的石墨层平面束构成的,是一种介乎石墨和非三维结构间的中间结构。炭黑粒子中的碳原子以六角平面构成二度有序的层平面的网状排列。六角形排列的原子间距正是石墨的间距(0.14nm)。这样的层平面,形成3~5层(乙炔炭黑为6~7层)。平均层面间距要比石墨中对应的间距大些。这些层平面是平行的和等距的,但层与层之间受到扭转和平移,炭黑这种排列状态称乱层结构或湍层结构(二者英文均为turbostratic structure)。
