In this paper, based on discrete distribution of non-broken filament length of cocoon, we derived its continuous distribution, that is a distribution of lifetime, and the mean value and variance, with the hypotheses that the ratio of dropping end has continuorsly distributed form on cocoon filament.

中国南朝齐梁间目录学家， 6世纪中国综合系统书目代表作《七录》的编者。字士宗，陈留尉氏 (今河南开封 )人， 出身士族， 但终身不仕。他遍访藏书之家，收其目录，立志“总集众家，更为新录”。梁普通四年(523) 起在建康(今南京)编《七录》12卷。分经典、纪传、子兵、文集、术技 (以上内编)、佛法、仙道(以上外编)7类 (录)，55部，著录图书6288种、44526卷，并写有解题,后为《隋书·经籍志》的主要依据之一。《七录》亡佚，但其序、目录、引用书目(《古今书最》)存于《广弘明集》中。
