On the basis of mechanical analysis of interaction of timber and rockmass,in ligut of character and law of ground behaviour in coal face,this paper has analyzed and proved that the support result of carrying framed timber is better than proping up framed timber in zhaizhen coal mine by mathematical ways.

Some points including adjusting mining,mesh placement,upper port carrying framed timber constructing,support design of removing roadway,etc.

This paper introduces the geological conditions of Ⅸ Mining Area,discusses the design the framed timber support pattern and high-strength belt and rope support pattern on the intersections within Ⅸ Mining Area and the construction methods,and points out that the high-strength belt and rope support pattern is the most effective one to solve the difficult of intersection support withinⅨ Mining Area.
