  中国云南大叶种(Yunnan dayezhong)包括著名茶树良种,云南省大叶类茶树品种的总称。主豆中等。翻库大叶种(又名大黑茶)、夙庆大叶种和劫海大叶在该原产云南省西南部和南部栩沧江流域,主要分石、元省双江、澜沧、动海、凤庆、昌宁、云县、保日‘西、江等县(市)。中华人民共和国成立后,广东、落建、四川、贵州等省(区)曾先后大面积引种成功,引种湖南、江西、浙江等省部分茶区也成功地开展j南大驯化工作;同时,部分科研和教学单位,利用乞 叶种作原始材料.育成了一批茶树新品种。植株乔木型,树冠高大,自然生长树高5一6米,最高达20米以上。树姿半开展,部分开展或较直立.分枝部位高,分枝较疏。叶片属特大叶类,叶长平均13厘米,叶宽5厘米,最大叶面达26.0火10.5平方厘米,叶形长椭圆形、椭圆或近倒披针形。叶片多为水平状着生,叶尖渐尖,叶色浓绿,或黄绿,光泽性好,叶面隆起或显著隆起,叶肉厚而柔软,侧脉明显,多为10对以上,叶缘背卷,锯齿较深尚齐,芽叶肥壮。茸毛特多。叶片栅状组织一层.栅状组织与海绵组织比约为l:3。发芽期早,生长期长,育芽力强,1年萌发5一6轮,新梢持嫩性强。花多数单生,部分丛生或呈假总状花序,花冠短径为25毫米,长径为45毫米,花瓣6一7片,花粤5片。抗寒性弱,一5℃以下便遭受严重冻害。适制红茶,品质特优,其产品澳红,畅销国外;加工炒青绿茶和普洱茶品质亦佳。鲜叶中茶多酚与儿茶素含t丰富,明显高于一般品种,但其总量却随着该品种的北移而下降,而儿茶素组分仍保持相对的德定性,黄酮类物质含量及其占茶多酚的百分率也随北移而减少。 云南大叶种产量高.比当地一般品种约增产30%左右。生产上采用有性萦殖,但应注意提高品种纯度,苗期要采取培土、铺草等防冻措施,可采用定型修剪与弯枝相结合的方法培养树冠。该品种适于冬季绝对气温一3℃以上的红茶产区推广。 (刘祖生)
