| 满洲里市 位于中国内蒙古自治区呼伦贝尔盟西部。属呼伦贝尔盟。1990年人口13.7万。有汉、蒙古 、回 、满 、壮、苗、彝、白、土等民族。面积696.3平方千米。1923 年设满洲里市政分局。1927年改满洲里市政公所。1936年改称市政管理处。1940年改满洲里街。1942年改满洲里市 。1949 年扎赉诺尔市并入。矿产有褐煤 、石灰岩、麦饭石 、黄粘土 、珍珠岩、膨润土、花岗岩、硅土、玄武岩、建筑用砂、石等。野生动物有狼、狐狸、貉、貂、黄羊等。名胜古迹主要有国门、灵泉、达赉湖、呼伦贝尔草原。是滨洲铁路的终点站，西出国境即与俄国的西伯利亚铁路相接，是中俄交通、贸易的重要口岸。 |
