An example is taken to demonstrate the positive effect by applying magnesium-potassium fertilizer on the yield of sugar cane,banana,tomato,citrus and rice,as well as the production situation of magnesium-potassium sulfate fertilizer in China,which is considered to have wide prospect for application.

According to the five-component system,which is K+,Na+,Mg2+//SO2-4,Cl-—H2O at 100℃ and 25℃,and based on the technology of producing potassium chloride,we improved and adjusted partial devices and technological chain so as to produce potassium chloride and SPM fertilizer.
