这件战国提链铜圆壶器高32.6厘米,通链高44厘米,口径12.4厘米,腹径21.4厘米,重5.8千克。器形优美。口外侈,颈部内收稍长,溜肩,圆鼓腹,平底,圈足。盖顶隆起呈扁圆形,子口,盖顶中间铸有环鼻一个,用两节链和一圆环与拉链相联。圆环套于拉链上,可上下自由移动,便于开启,肩部两侧对称置兽面衔环,连结提链。提链两端各由五环联成,中间为龙首向下以口衔环璜形提手。圈足立壁自右向左横刻铭文23字。此器制作精细,匠心独运,腹部圆似葫芦,极易联想到北方游牧民族便于携带的葫芦形状,颇具历史感。
