性质:理想晶面上金属电结晶过程的理论。此理论认为,在理想平整的晶面上,由于不存在“生长点”,因此,晶体继续生长的前提是在晶面上出现新的晶核。晶核的形成是晶体生长过程的速率控制步骤。在未完成的理想晶面上,晶面的继续生长只能在少数占有最低能量位置的“生长点”或“生长线”上进行。金属离子在晶面上任一位置都可放电并形成“吸附原子”,然后通过扩散转移到“生长线”和“生长点”上。
