水源洞为凌云之冠,是中国十大溶洞之一,洞内有泉涌出,汇入澄碧河,流入珠江,为珠江之源头,故名水源洞。水源洞分第一洞天问心庙和内洞探奇二部分。
第一洞天最宽处为31米,最高处为20.8米。占地约2万2千平方米,泉水清澈透明,涛奔雷怒,气势磅礴,洞口崖壁上有近百幅历代名人骚客留下的石刻,问心庙以天然大厅为佛殿,始建于康熙年间,历史悠久,香火旺盛。
