| 产地及产期: 产于我国北部沿海，尤以山东半岛为多。山东长岛、威海、蓬莱、石岛、文登和辽宁大连、长山岛等地是主产地。 | |
| 介绍: 贝壳扇圆形，长7～9厘米，壳高略大于壳长，薄而轻。两壳大小几乎相等，右壳较平，左壳较凸。前耳比后耳大。后耳两壳同形，略成直角等腰三角形。左壳前耳略呈三角形；右壳前耳略呈长方形，其腹面有一凹陷，与左壳前耳形成一孔，即为相孔，孔之下缘生有格状小齿6～10枚。左壳有主要放射肋10条左右，右壳有主要放射肋20条左右，有小肋夹杂其间。两壳肋均有不规则的生长棘。贝壳表面一般为紫褐色、淡褐色、黄褐色、红褐色、杏黄色、灰白色等。贝壳内面白色，有与壳面相当的放射肋纹和肋间沟。铰合部直。后闭壳肌巨大。内韧带发达。 |
