性质:大单环、大套环或大扣环状的高聚物。最先发现和研究的环状聚合物是天然生物大分子如环形多肽、环型低聚糖、环链淀粉等。合成大环聚合物有环型聚二甲基硅氧烷、环型芳香族聚碳酸酯、环型聚(2-乙烯基吡啶)、环型聚丁二烯、环型聚苯乙烯等。由于不存在链末端,在相同分子量、相同浓度条件下,环型聚合物与线型聚合物在溶液性质、流变学性质及高次结构等各种性质上有明显差异。合成方法分两类:(1)利用缩聚反应的环链平衡在低浓度环化为主的特征合成;(2)利用双负离子与双功能亲电试剂反应的分子间扩链反应进行环化。
