In order to reduce the atmospheric pollutant emission further, the newly revised standard of GB13223-2003, which is the atmospheric pollutant emission standard of the thermal power plants, was enacted on December 30, 2003.
为此我国于2003年12月30日发布了新修订的GB13223—2003《火电厂大气污染物排放标准》,新标准对大气污染物的排放更趋于严格。

水污染物排放标准(standardofwaterpollutantsdischarge)为实现水环境质量标准而实行的一种限制污染源排放的水质管理标准。目前主要有两类：(1)浓度控制标准，以浓度单位(mg／L)来控制污染源的排放，对有害污染物的排放浓度定出最高容许值。中国已颁布的《工业%26ldquo;三废%26rdquo;排放试行标准》即属此类。(2)总量控制标准，以排放总量(kg／d)来控制污染源的排放。
