性状描述:蓝灰色粉状物,溶于水呈深紫色至黑色,微溶于乙醇和溶纤素。遇浓硫酸呈蓝色,稀释后呈红光紫色;遇浓硝酸呈棕光紫色。其水溶液,加浓盐酸呈红光紫色;加浓氢氧化钠液呈枣红色。对纤维素纤维染色,染料吸尽性很好,温度在60-80℃亲合力最大,拔染性好。

生产方法:以联苯胺;H酸和γ酸为基本原料。联苯胺经重氮化后,与H酸和γ酸进行双偶合,而后经盐析;过滤及干燥而得。
