毛巾绣 机绣针法之一。绣时将底线放松，面线收紧，使底线翻上绣面。运针方法为直线行进，须做到行行不乱，便可产生卷毛样的毛巾花纹效果，使图案毛绒浑厚。如行针时将直线行进改为连续打小圈的作法，在绣面上即可产生一连串小菊花形状，这种针法称“翻底菊花针”。用来绣制图案花芯，效果甚佳。
