【性状】
本品为白色粉末；无臭，无味。 本品在水或乙醇中不溶；在稀盐酸或稀硝酸中易溶。
【鉴别】
本品的酸性溶液显钙盐与磷酸盐（附录Ⅲ）的鉴别反应。
【检查】
氟化物 取本品2.0g，置联接有冷凝管的50ml蒸馏瓶中，加高氯酸5ml 、水15ml与玻璃珠数粒；瓶塞具有2孔，孔内分别插入装有水的 滴液漏斗（下接毛细管 ）与温度计，毛细管前端与温度计汞球均插入液面之下。用小火加热至135 ℃，收集馏 出液于加有水约10ml的液面之下，再从滴液漏斗通过毛细管逐滴注入水，使温度维持在 135～140℃；继续蒸馏至馏出液约达70ml，用水冲洗馏液管，并稀释至100ml,摇匀，分 取50ml；另取氟对照液〔精密称取在105℃干燥至恒重的氟化钠0.2210g,置100ml量瓶中， 加水溶解并稀释至刻度，摇匀；临用前，精密量取10ml，置1000ml量瓶中，用水稀释至 刻度，摇匀，即得每1ml中含氟(F)10μg的对照液〕15ml，加水至50ml。在上述供试品 溶液与对照液中，各加茜素磺酸钠指示液1.5ml,滴加氢氧化钠滴定液(0.05mol/L) 至溶 液刚显红色,各加盐酸滴定液(0.02mol/L)5ml，用0.025％硝酸钍溶液滴定至溶液显红色， 滴定供试品溶液消耗的容积(ml)不得超过滴定对照液消耗的容积(ml)(0.015％)。 氯化物 取本品0.20g ，加水10ml与硝酸2ml ，缓缓加热至溶解，放冷，依法检查 （附录Ⅷ A），与标准氯化钠溶液10ml制成的对照液比较，不得更浓（0.05％）。 硫酸盐 取本品1.0g，加少量稀盐酸，使适能溶解，加水至100ml ，摇匀，滤过， 取滤液20ml，加水5ml ，依法检查（附录Ⅷ B），与标准硫酸钾溶液4.0ml 制成的对照 液比较，不得更浓(0.2％) 。 碳酸盐 取本品1g，加水5ml ，混匀，加盐酸2ml ，不得泡沸。 盐酸中不溶物 取本品5.0g，加盐酸10ml与水40ml，加热溶解后，加水稀释至100 ml，如有不溶物，滤过，滤渣用水洗净，至洗液不显氯化物的反应，在105℃干燥1小时， 遗留残渣不得过5mg。 炽灼失重 取本品约1g，置已炽灼至恒重的坩埚中，精密称定，于600 ℃炽灼至恒 重，减失重量应为24.5％～26.5％。 钡盐 取本品0.5g，加水10ml，加热，滴加盐酸，随滴随搅拌，使溶解，滤过，滤 液中加硫酸钾试液2ml ，10分钟内，不得发生浑浊。 重金属 取本品1.0g，加稀盐酸3ml ，加热，使溶解，加水使成50ml，滤过，分取 滤液25ml，依法检查（附录Ⅷ H第一法），含重金属不得过百万分之三十。 砷盐 取本品0.5g，加稀盐酸溶液(1→25)5ml溶解后，依法检查（附录Ⅷ J第一法） ，应符合规定（0.001％）。
【含量测定】
取本品0.6g，精密称定，加稀盐酸10ml，加热溶解，冷却，移入100 ml 量瓶中，加水稀释至刻度，摇匀；精密量取10ml，加水50ml，精密加入乙二胺四醋酸 二钠滴定液(0.05mol/L) 25ml，加热数分钟，放冷，加氨－氯化铵缓冲液(pH10.0)10ml 与铬黑Ｔ指示剂少许，用锌滴定液(0.05mol/L) 滴定至溶液显紫红色。每1ml乙二胺四醋 酸二钠滴定液(0.05mol/L) 相当于8.605mg 的CaHPO4.2H2O。
